St. Augustine Province Holds Training on Financial Statements Format in Accra Ghana.

A training on Financial Statements Format was organized by the St. Augustine Province of Africa for heads of finance of various centers with the aim of achieving the following: Find solution to financial challenges, work on the control of expenditures, apply procurement procedures and look at the weakness and strengths of the province.
Giftee1It was enriching, educative, friendly and unifying. Representing the St. Joseph’s Catholic Hospital were Mr. Ibrahim Fatawu and Ms. Gifted Gray, finance director and hospital secretary respectively. During the training, the below decisions were reached to have the goals of the province accomplished.
The usage of the new reporting format in 2019, the accumulation of fixed assets from 2017, the Annual accrual of staffs’ gratuity, the Paying of taxes to government to avoid confrontation, etc. Other decisions reached during the training include Ensuring appropriate methods to recover debts, Significant overdue debt should be identified, Overdraft should be taken for short term financial commitment and Paying appropriate levies to the Curia.
